Suposedbly at the University of Syndey Conservatorium of Music if you study the jazz course through the first couple of years you study a 500 bar warm up exercise which is made up of all the 40 PAS rudiments to keep our hands in shape.

Can't wait to get it and learn it off by heart!

You hit it right on the head regarding Gene's ability to play many styles. He can go from loose, on top of the time, with great touch jazz styles to tight, in the pocket, afro-cuban, funk, modern fusion styles with so much ease and elegance. Thanks again
